Start of Shift Notes:  Store 3271 in progress. Initial Lum: 1.39E31
Thu Mar 4 00:38:50
earlier today, while the Liunatics were on the fiber splitting we
saw massive reformatter errors > 4%. Also now we got one burst of reformatter errors (49 at a time, run 179621). We were discussing the situation and decided that we would like to accumulate more statistics. We will discuss the situation again at ~8am. And come up with a plan befor the next store - Rainer and Burkard
Thu Mar 4 01:03:56
Done timeout for crate B0pcal00. Auto HRR cleared the error, but the the trigger rate dropped to 0. Halted, shepherded B0pcal00 and it's ok now. - Simon :: (run 179621)

-- Thu Mar 4 02:31:15 comment by...Andrew -- Notice we lost ACNET communication for the period about
10 minutes (~2:05-2:15).
RC reported ACNET monitoring failure.
This problem is mentioned in MCR E-log.

-- Thu Mar 4 03:21:39 comment by...Brian -- I have not been able to find referene plots for SVXMon after the incident this morning with
layer 4, wedge 4, barrel 1, so I am posting the SVXMon plots as I see them now.
In addition to layer 4, wedge 4, barrel 1, there is a yellow area in cell id: ISL0, barrel 3, wedge
16 & 17. This cell was yellow last night when we started the JET trigger test, but went away with
HRR. (See silicon e-log for details.)
-- Thu Mar 4 03:27:00 comment by...Brian -- The ISL0 yellow area is now green. There was some problem with SVXMon display not updating the
ISL slides (note the disagreement in date between ISL slides and SVX slides). Also, the small bits
of yellow in SVXMon L00 & ISL Chip Status Map are now gone.

Woke up to the pleasant sounds of the pager. I talked the DAQ Ace through the procedure for doing a Cal QIE calibration and FRAM download of the CCAL crates. The error log does not show any unusual problems, so I think the calibration is good. For the next 10 minutes or so, the CCAL crates will be red in VxWorks, as they download the constants.
-- Thu Mar 4 06:28:45 comment by...m mattson --
The other day, Bill B had to use the QIETEST program to reconfigure ccal05. When this is done, RC complains that all ADMEMs in ccal05 are "not configured", because the tags are not the same as the last "official" calibration. We are taking care of that now.

Although the CO still needs to check DBANA, I looked at the comments in the error log. There appear to be no unusual messages. The only failure that stands out is b0pcal05, slot 21, channel 01, which has a wide RMS. Pcal odd slots, channels 00 and 01 are PIN diode channels, which are not used during data taking. No action needs to be taken for this. (I'm guessing that it may be a consequence of the plug laser runs that were done the other day.)

-- Thu Mar 4 07:27:21 comment by...Brian -- New bad channels in CALQIE calibration (blue). None of the channels had pedestals or slopes
severe enough to call an expert (according to directions on web). Shot setup started, so we will
not repeat calibration.
All other calibrations look OK.

- Acnet comunications lost for 10-15' around 2:15 am.
- Store 3271 ended at 6:00. Silicon experts called.
Reformatted error for run 179621 concentrated only at the
beginning of the shift: 49 at a time. No more for the rest
of the run.
Calibration during stores done: QIE Calibration checked by
FEE expert. Still, comparing files a list of bad pedestals
appear on WHA.
