The RunControlStatus panel near the bottom of the main RunControl window shows a variety of important informations pertaining to the current run. Read this panel to make sure you have configured the run correctly &minus the most important configuration parameters are shown. First order confidence that everything is going OK in your run can be gained by watching the event counters rise.
